Lora D. Dailey (Soldi)

March 14, 1952 — October 10, 2019

Lora D. Dailey, 67, Waxahachie, TX passed away Oct. 10, 2019. Memorial services will begin at 5:30 pm, Thursday, Oct. 17 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm before the service at the chapel.
Lora was born March 14, 1952 in Kansas City, MO and attended East High School. She worked for The VFW Women’s Auxiliary for fourteen years and retired in 2016. She was a very active member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post #1829 in Kansas City and was a Past President of the Missouri VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching, traveling and going on cruises. She collected all kinds of ceramic frogs and was a huge Chief’s fan.
Lora was preceded in death by her husband Doug Dailey in 2017. She is survived by son Shawn Dailey and wife Christy, Waxahachie, TX; daughter Stacy Petkash and Wes Butzke, Hempstead, TX; sons Joe Dailey and wife Kristy, Kansas City, MO; Tony Dailey and wife Jennifer, Grain Valley, MO; brothers Fred Soldi and wife Penny; Bob Soldi, all of The Villages, FL; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
