Damion William Atwater-Cannon, born on December 21, 2001, in Independence, Missouri to Tiffanie Stevenson, passed away at the young age of 23 on January 2, 2025, in Independence, MO. Shortly after his birth, Nick Cannon, who became his dad, played a significant role in his life and lovingly raised him. Damion was celebrated for his vibrant spirit and humor, consistently bringing laughter to those around him, even during challenging times.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Papa John Ward of Independence, MO. Damion is survived by his mother, Tiffanie Stevenson, and his dad, Nicholas Cannon, as well as his sister, Mya Cannon, and brother baby Nicholas Cannon, of Independence, MO. He is also survived by girlfriend, Kaylea Kingsley and unborn child, his grandparents, Pam Stevenson and Roger Lindsey, of Independence, MO., Cindy Carrol of Kansas City, MO. Damion is fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles, Elisha Stevenson and Carlos Venegas of Independence, MO., Jessica and Tommy Dean of Holden, MO., Michael Barajas and Sara Harrison of Independence, MO, Larry and Jody Cannon of Independence, MO., Bobby Adriano of Kansas City, KS., Samantha and Patrick Phillips of Kansas City, MO. Damion is cherished by his great grandparents, along side with numerous cousins, family, and friends.
