She met Norman D’Angelo and they wed on October 15, 1949, at Assumption Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO. To this union were born two children.

In 1965 she and Norman built a lake home at the Lake of the Ozarks, which played a big part in their family life. They traveled abroad extensively over the years. She was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Wallace Council, and served as the first President. She was also involved in the Knights of Columbus Clown Club, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and line-dancing, but her biggest passion was enjoying the company of her family, especially her grandchildren!
