Sandra Daniel

Sandra Louise Daniel, 59, of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052 with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. Sandra was born May 14, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Alvin and Audrey Hill. She had worked for Independence Custom Fabrication as a quality control inspector for 30 years. She enjoyed baking, shopping, gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by; her husband, Christopher Daniel of the home; 2 daughters, Sandee Hernandez of Kansas City, KS and Christin Daniel of Independence, MO; 2 sons, Eddie Neil and wife Kim of Omaha, NE and Danny Daniel of Independence, MO; 4 sisters, Brenda Lawson, Deb Lawson, Karen Fannigan and Christina Lowe; 2 brothers, Greg Hill and Steve Hill; 5 grandchildren, Makaela Neil, Trey Neil, Tyler Hand, Jacob Dolan and Dante Griffin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Cordas and a brother, Randall Hill.
