Joey Davenport, 35, of Independence, MO passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5pm on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Speaks Buckner Chapel 300 Adams St, Buckner, MO, 64016.
Joey was born on March 28, 1982 in Lees Summit, MO to Edwin Smith and Patricia Davenport. He worked in the construction industry and loved writing, drawing, and was always seeking an adventure. He loved his family and his two children more than anything. He was always asking questions and searching for the answer. Joey had an incredibly big heart and loved everyone. It is hard to put into words what an incredible man he was and always will be.
He will be remembered by his daughter Hailey Mallett of Springfield, MO; son Jacob Davenport of Independence, MO; father Ron Foster of Kansas City, MO; mother Patti Klann and husband Bob of Mechanicsville, MD; brother Michael Davenport of Lone Jack, MO; step-sisters Catie and Cortney of Mechanicsville, MD, step-brother Wesley of Albuquerque, NM; 8 nieces and nephews; 3 uncles; 2 aunts; many cousins; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aunt Niecie, and cousin Woody.
