Matthew Scott "Matt" Davies

Matthew Davies, 44, of Blue Springs, MO passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2016. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 NE Chipman Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO. Matt was born on October 2, 1971 in Akron, Ohio to Jerry and Christine (Kuss) Davies. He was a graduate of Lee’s Summit High School. Matt worked in the food service industry for over 20 years in the area. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and just being outdoors. He was a loving and caring father to his 3 sons, and a faithful and supportive husband. Survivors include; wife Kimberly Davies; sons Alexander, Hudson, and Isaac Davies; mother and step father Christine and Dennis Cromley; grandmother Margaret Kuss; sisters Melissa Dossett (David), and Nelia Aubuchon (Tim); brothers Marc Davies (Julie), Aaron Cromley (Amanda); and Joshua Cromley (Linda); a large extended family and many friends. Matt is preceded in death by his father Jerry Davies.
