Charles Henry "Chuck" Davis Jr.

Charles Henry “Chuck” Davis Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Independence, Missouri. Chuck was born to Charles and Mary Davis on February 28, 1936 in Henrietta, Missouri.
After graduating from Northeast High School, Chuck served in the United States Air Force. Shortly after that he found and married the love of his life, Janet. They spent the next 51yrs creating memories together. Chuck was a people person and made friends wherever he went. His witty personality led him into sales with Farmers Insurance for over 55 years before retiring in 2018. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. They’d often take cruises and visit their lakehouse in Laurie, Missouri. He was an avid Chiefs fan, loved visiting with his friends at Summit Grill and will be missed dearly.
Chuck is survived by his daughter, Stephanie and husband Matthew Olson.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet; parents and step father, Floyd Miller.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22nd from 1-2pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. His funeral service will begin at 2pm with burial to follow at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Air Force Aid Society.
