Gordon Dale Davis, 73, Kansas City MO, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013.
Gordon was born December 1, 1939 in Novinger, MO the son of Harold and Alice (Ishmal) Davis. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Gordon worked as a machinist for a number of years and retired in 2007 from Midwest Lighting. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sister; Shirley Staggs and her husband Bearl; step brother, Randy Staggs and his wife Terry; step sister, Bonnie Newport and her husband Jim; special friend and companion, Connie Dotson; and addition nieces, nephews, and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Davis in 1996; brother, Howard Davis; sisters, Joann Newton, Helen Rowlett; and his parents.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
