Helen I. Davis

Helen I. (Whitt) Davis, 77, of Independence, MO formerly of Roland, AR was called to heaven April 8, 2005. Services will be 10 am Friday, April 15th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Chapel. Helen was born February 12, 1928 in Kalamazoo, MI to Henry Wick Whitt and Geneva Mae Hummel Whitt. She had retired form Asbury Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband James; daughter, Brenda Kay Allen; son, Clifford Smith; brothers, Wick Whitt, Jr, Bryant Whitt, Mitchell Whitt, and sister, Liley Whitt. She is survived by her son, William Earl Smith of Ferndale, AR; daughters, Sonseeahray LaPee, and Nancy Lachance both of Independence, MO; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Mamie Braun of Cabot, AR, and Nancy Emison of Jacksonville, AR.
