Dawna Sue Christofferson, 61 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with burial at Six Mile Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. Dawna was born November 25, 1963 in Independence, MO to Frank G. Tuttle, and Dorothy M. (Ferguson) Tuttle and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1982 and attended William Jewell College. She worked as an administrative assistant for construction companies, most recently Infinity Sign Company. She enjoyed painting ceramics, crafting, photographs and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. She is survived by; her loving husband, Dick Christofferson; a step son, Levi Christofferson and wife Sara of Belton, MO; a step daughter, Marae Cruce of Santa Monica, CA; a sister, Deena Graham and husband Rod Graham of Independence, MO; a brother Frank Tuttle and wife Leslie of Independence, MO; 2 nephews, Christopher Graham and Ryan Graham and a niece, Jeniffer Tuttle. She was preceded in death by, her parents, 2 brothers, Jeffrey Tuttle in 2004 and Roger Tuttle in 2019.
