Anthony Wayne “Tony” Delce, 48, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
Tony was born March 8, 1965 in Oklahoma City, OK the son of Marvis L. Delce and Mary R. Nolan. Tony had worked as an Executive Chef at the Arrowhead Club and the past nine years with the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church where he served as associate minister and taught Sunday School. Tony enjoyed working on cars and was well know for his cooking abilities.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Delce; daughter, Ceira Shelby; sons, Deaunte Gardener, Tae-Vheon and Sae-Vheon Tisinger-Alcorn; mother, Mary R. Nolan-Thomas; brother, Travis Nolan and additional family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvis L. Delce; and step-father, Freddie Joseph Thomas.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Second Baptist Church; 116 E. White Oak, Independence, MO 64050. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the church. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery.
