Wanita E. Delo, 67, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Birchwood Baptist Church, 3883 Blue Ridge Blvd, Independence, MO 64052. Cremation. Interment will take place in Millinocket, Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Wanita was born August 8, 1937 in Millinocket, ME to Joseph and Mary (Cesare) Borrello. She was a member of Birchwood Baptist Church and her greatest passion in life was her love for the Lord. She enjoyed reading in her spare time and listening to all types of music. Wanita was active volunteering for many different community service programs. She is survived by her son Skip Delo and his wife Teresa, of Martinsburg, WV, daughter Dawn Delo of the home; grandchildren Joshua Lee Delo and his wife Ji Eun, Melina Caroline Delo; sisters Gloria Powers of Medford, ME, Jacqueline Ponders of Wells, ME; uncle Pete Cesare of Millinocket, ME.
