Patricia Demery of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed Monday, September 6, 2021. She was 75 years old. Cremation is planned with a private family gathering.
Patricia was born on February 5, 1946 to Arthur and Marjorie (Beals) Romines. Born and raised in the Kansas City area Patricia was one of 8 children. While attending high school at Ruskin, Patricia was introduced to the love of her and her forever best friend, Clifford “Sandy” Demery. After a year of dating, they wed with promises to love each other for all time, and that they did. From their union came 3 beautiful children.
Patricia was vivacious in life, so adventurous and extremely creative. From helping run a floral shop, scrapbooking, to raising Collie’s and having them in show, and of course, showing the world’s beauty from behind the lens taking beautiful pictures. She poured her love into everything she did no matter if it was making clothing for her daughters or leading by example to her family and friends by never speaking an unkind word. Patricia enjoyed fishing out by the pond and would whenever she could, but the mountains, oh how the mountains called to her heart, but even the mountains played second fiddle to her first and true love, her family. She loved her family fiercely and was often referred as everyone’s mother. The love she carried for them radiating a joy that surrounded her. Pat’s beautiful heart never leaving anyone guessing if they were cared for, it was such a beautifully feeling to feel the love she gave, beautiful enough to make all the mountains pale in comparison. She will be vastly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy and love she gave to all she knew will never cease.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clifford “Sandy” Demery; children, Kimberlee (Selden “Skip”) Ouart, Matt (Steve Curran) Demery; grandchildren, June, April, Summer, Cody, Kyle, Kris, Brandon, Britton; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandra, Larry, Bill, Kathy, Mark, Randy; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marjorie Romines; daughter, Audra Demery; brother, Michael Romines; and her dear granddaughter, Chelsea.
