Rose Marie "Rody" Dendish

Rose Marie “Rody” Dendish, 80, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019. A visitation will be held from 9-10am on Monday, November 25, 2019, with a Mass to follow at 10am, both at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rody was born on December 1, 1938 to Steve and Anna Dendish in Kansas City, MO. She was one of five siblings. After graduating from high school, Rody worked as an office professional in a variety of positions before her retirement at the age of 74. Rody was independent and strong. She was family focused and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved traveling, reading, Elvis, and dining out. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Rody is preceded in death by her siblings, Bernice Diesko, Jim Gorsic, Irene Russo, and Mary Gross.
