James "Jim� C. Denio, 93, Blue Springs, MO passed away Oct. 15, 2006 at his home. Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wed. at the funeral home.
Jim was born Jan. 7, 1913 in Gladstone, MI. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he served in the South Pacific Theater. He was a Chief Dietitian for the Veterans Administration before his retirement. He was a member of the Covenant Restoration Branch.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Denio. He is survived by his wife Frances Denio, of the home; son Douglas Denio and wife Judy, Columbus, NE; and grandchildren Brian, Chrystal, and Sarah.
