Dennis Francis Cromley, 63 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed Saturday, November 30, 2024 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 NE Chipman Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the church. Donations may be made in his name to the St. Matthews Lutheran Church of to the American Diabetes Association. Dennis was born January 13, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Patrick Leo and Hellen (Sharit) Cromley and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1978 and received a bachelor’s in accounting from UMKC. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1981-85. He had worked for nearly 40 years as a revenue agent for the IRS until recently when his health failed. He enjoyed watching TV, singing, spending time with his grandchildren, word puzzles and other mind teaser games and was an avid KC Chiefs and Royals fan. He had also coached soccer in his younger years. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and had served as congregation president for 2 years. He is survived by; his loving wife of 37 years, Christine of the home; 4 children, Melissa Dossett and husband David of Lee’s Summit, MO, Marc Davies and wife Julie of Los Angeles, CA, Nelia Aubuchon and husband Tim and Joshua Cromley and wife Linda all of St. Louis, MO. 4 siblings, Ken Cromley of Blue Springs, MO, Larry Cromley and wife Kathy of Grain Valley, MO, Cathy Cromley and Patricia Cromley both of Blue Springs, MO; 18 grandchildren, Alex, Hudson and Isaac Davies, Brooke and RaQuel Dean, David Dossett III and Mia Dossett, Keilah and Lillian Davies, Alli, Wesley and Max Cromley, Lily, Elise and Hazel Aubuchon and Charlotte, Maddie and Levi Cromley and one great granddaughter, Natalya Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 son, Matt Davies and Aaron Cromley.
