Robert F. Dennis

Robert F. "Bob� Dennis, 87, of Belton, MO, passed away, Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Raymore Health Center. Graveside inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Kansas City Hospice. Bob was born October 4, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN to Reuben C. and Christie Elizabeth (Fairbanks) Dennis, Sr. He had worked at a salesman in the clothing industry for a number of years before he retired in the early 1980�s. He was a member of the Belton Christian Church and the American Legion Post #488 in Belton, MO. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was married to Hope G. Bridgeman on May 22, 1937, she passed away in 2003. A son Chris Dennis also preceded him in death. Survivors include; a sister, Florence Ellifrit of Houston, TX; 2 nieces; a nephew and 2 grand nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother Reuben C. Dennis, Jr. on June 5 2005.
