Corris Denny, 92, of Independence, MO passed July 31, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Augustl 5, at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. She was born March 4, 1922 in El Dorado Springs, MO to Melvin Levi and Arra Irene (Bowker) Pratt. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Denny; one brother; and one sister. She is survived by one daughter, Kay Flinn; three grandchildren, Michael Shaun Flinn, Matthew Shane Flinn and Mackenzie Shere Flinn; as well as 8 great grandchildren.
