Jimmetta Wylene Detillier, 74, of Blue Springs, passed away peacefully with family on March 29, 2018. Jimmie, as known to friends and family, was born in O’Keene, OK on June 27, 1943 to James Edward and Lula (Strain) Albright as one of six children. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1961. On July 6, 1968, she married David B. Detillier. David entered into rest on Sept. 1, 2012. Jimmie Detillier is survived by her loving great-granddaughter, Adriahna. “Anna” was Jimmie’s pride and joy as they shared their special long “talks”. She is also survived by her loving family including two daughters, Kelly Dawn of Sunrise Beach, MO and Stephania Detillier-Cooper and her husband Ed of Blue Springs; her loving grandchildren, Talia, Cavin, McKenna, Caide, Melaina and Briahana; 3 beautiful great grandchildren, Adriahna, Alexiahna and Dava; siblings, William Albright and Val Donna Weaver. Jimmie is preceded in death by her husband and 3 siblings. Jimmie was an independent business owner that did a little of everything from dump trucks to accounting. There was not much she didn’t do. Jimmie was an avid reader she would sit for hours just to finish a book. She also loved her solitaire. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 3 from 6-8:00pm with a funeral service held Wednesday, April 4th at 2:00pm, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
