Addie "Mae" Dickens

Addie Mae Dickens, beloved sister and aunt, passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 88. Interment took place in McConnell Memorial Cemetery in Nixa, MO.
Mae, as she was known, was born on February 8, 1932 in Nixa, MO, the daughter of Jess Franklin Jones and Myrl Lorene Bolin Jones. She grew up in the Nixa area but spent most of her adult life in Independence, MO. She was a computer operator for NAPA Auto Parts for 30 ½ years until her retirement in 1992. She then took up part-time work at Macy’s as a sales clerk in the jewelry and purses department. She cherished the friendships she made with her coworkers and customers.
Mae loved camping, bowling, painting, needlework, dining out, and hosting family get-togethers. She is greatly missed by many.
Mae was widowed twice, with no children. She is survived by her sister Edith Hite and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
