Elsie L. Dinwiddie

Elsie L. (Doss) Dinwiddie, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at the Medical Center of Independence. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association. Elsie was born on September 25, 1923 in Hardin, MO to James and Eva Doss. She worked as a seamstress for over thirty years at the Rice Coat & Suit Company. She was also a member of the Garment Workers International Union. Elsie loved sewing, traveling and baking. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Heston, Jack and "J.T.� Doss; and one sister, Eula Mae Denton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
