Marcella Lorraine Dixon (Irving)

Marcella Lorraine Dixon, 78 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Cross Creek Baptist Church, 1050 SW 15th St., Oak Grove, MO 64075. Marcella was born January 17, 1942 in Kansas City, KS to David and Elizabeth (Ramsey) Irving and has been a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed arts and crafts, Fishing, NASCAR and antique shopping. She was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include; her companion, Mark Magel of the home; 3 sisters, Donna Kessler and husband Tom, Fay Clark and husband Dale and Deborah Matulich and husband Bruno; a special niece, Katie Clark and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Reece Dixon in 2003 and a sister, Jackie Lariviere.
