Orpha Fern Dodd, 92 of Oakdale, CA, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, CA. Services will be 1:00 pm, Tue., May 20, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Dodd was born on Nov. 7, 1910 to Ike and Agusta Hallaway in Poplar Bluff, MO and had lived in the Independence area for 35 years before moving to California three years ago. Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Oren Dodd, a son, Leroy Budd and a daughter, Irene McFarland. She is survived by a son, Robert Dodd and his wife Janet of Oakdale, CA. A daughter, Charlotte Wandell of Florida. Fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
