James N. Dodson

James "Jim� N. Dodson, 71, Independence, MO passed away Oct. 4, 2006. A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Monday, Oct. 9, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Asbury Cemetery near Troy, MO. The family suggests contributions to the Shriners� Children Hospital.
Jim was born June 19, 1935 in Troy, MO. He worked at the First National Bank of Missouri�s downtown location for 25 years and retired as a Vice President in 1989. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Jim was a Mason and a member of the Ararat Shrine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Royals, Cardinals and Chiefs.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Dodson. He is survived by daughters Julie Allen and husband Jordan, Chicago, IL; Maureen Kemner, Blue Springs, MO; Marylou Lehman, Lee�s Summit, MO; sisters Opal Hammett, Branson, MO; Margaret Kohrs and husband Ed, Warrenton, MO; Mary Lou Hennier and husband Don, NKC, MO; and grandchildren Tyler, Madeline, Eva, Trevor, Kayebrianna, and Maryjayne.
