Eleanor Dominick

Eleanor (Price) Dominick, 91, died on November 13, 2006 of Alzheimer�s at Season�s Care Center. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel from 7-8 P.M. Memorial Service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Eleanor was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 2, 1915 the daughter of James and Florence (Poe) Price. Eleanor was a 1932 graduate of Northeast High School. She enjoyed gambling at the boats and in Las Vegas, and playing cards especially Black Jack.
Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She married D. T. Dominick in Kansas City, Missouri on August 4, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1986. She was also predeceased by her parents and four siblings. Survivors include her son, Daniel Dominick and wife Jane of Independence, Mo., two daughters, V. Kaye Jackson of Temecula, Ca. and Nancy Powell of Independence, six grandchildren, Kimberly Nemitz, Susan Saalsaa, Thomas Jackson, Cathleen Cummings, Heather Peters, and Brady Powell and by six great grandchildren, Rachel, Dani, Nique, Caitlin, Collin and Ryan and beloved dog, Max. Eleanor�s family would like to express their appreciation for all the loving care extended to her from the staff at Season�s Care Center and Crossroads Hospice.
