Emma Lou Muir Taylor Domville, 94, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, November 18th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Belton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 pm until service time. Emma was born January 8, 1909 in Belton, MO to Scott Muir and Maude McCoy Muir. She was a 5th generation granddaughter of Daniel Boone. She was a deputy Assessor for Jackson County, and was a L.P.N., retired from the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital. Emma was a longtime member of Belton United Methodist Church, and served as a foster grandparent at Lake Mary, Paola, KS. Emma was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Henry O. Taylor and Milton H. Domville; a son, Cecil E. Taylor; brothers, Scott and Richard Muir; and a sister, Helen Hash. She is survived by her son, Henry Taylor and wife Mary of Oak Grove, MO; daughter-in-law, Eve Taylor of Chillicothe, MO; grandchildren, Linda Ham and husband Dwayne, Kathy Ward, Debbie Campfield and husband Chuck, Tim Taylor and wife Lisa, Janet Kirk, Linda Wolfe and husband Roger, Mike Taylor and wife Novela; 15 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; sisters, Nell and Maude Muir, both of Belton, MO.
