Linda Donahue, 68, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. A graveside service will take place at 11am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lincoln, MO. She will be placed alongside her husband, David.
Linda was born September 1, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Clarence and Ruby (Graham) Sparks. After high school she worked for Hallmark Cards. She enjoyed singing, crochet, and playing cards but most of all loved spending time with her grandkids.
She will be remembered by her daughter Kelli Mathis of Pleasant Hill, MO, step-son David Donahue of Denver, CO, daughter Elizabeth Ford and husband Nick of Independence, MO; sister Vicki Young and husband Monte of Lincoln, MO; grandkids Erin Mathis, Ian Mathis, Austin Ford, Riley Donahue, Tevyn Ford, Sydney Donahue, Logan Ford, Gavyn Donahue, Sophia Ford; great-grandkids Brendan Mathis and Ethan Valdreau.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Paul Keeney in 1981, her brother Wayne Sparks in 2011, and her husband David Donahue in April of this year.
