Margaret E. Dorrell

Margaret E. Dorrell aged 91 years, 3 months, 14 days of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2004. Services will be 10 am Monday, January 3rd at Carson-Speaks Chapel; with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the Chapel. Margaret was born September 14, 1913 in Ludlow, MO to Forrest and Myrtle Tye. She worked in the catalog department for Sears Roebuck & Co. for several years, retiring in 1976. Margaret was a member of East Side Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling the world, and visiting with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Dorrell in 1973; a son, James H. Dorrell; brothers, Buford and Dorris Tye. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Joyce Huddleston and husband Walter of Independence, MO; son, Michael Dorrell and wife Fran of Oak Grove, MO; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Marian Holley, and Ruth Drown both of Independence, MO; and her loving companions, Clementine and Zoe.
