Curtis Lee "Tiny� Dotson, 54, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 19th at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 am Monday, January 24th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, January 23rd at the chapel from 2-4:00 pm. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. Curtis was born January 25, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to Davie and Harriette (Roberts) Dotson. He owned and operated Dotson Trucking Company that he started in 1980 with his father. Curtis loved restoring cars and building motorcycles in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marilyn (Aliviano) Dotson of the home; mother Harriette and her husband James Edwards of Butler, MO; brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Judy Dotson of Winchester, KY; sister and brother-in-law Iris and Richard Gragg of Princeton, KS; aunt and uncle Arlene and Harry Yantis of Liberty, MO; aunt Mae Cecil of Foster, MO; uncle and aunt L.H. and Marian Roberts of Kiniwick, WA; special relative Brenda Current; a host of nieces, cousins and friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his father Davie Dotson.
