Jason Patrick Dougan, 32, of Richmond, MO passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 in a construction accident working on a bridge in the Grandview Triangle. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday. June 8, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley, KS. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Education Fund to Benefit the Children of Jason Dougan c/o Blue Ridge Bank & Trust 4200 Little Blue Parkway Independence, MO 64057. Jason was born January 24, 1974 in Independence, MO to Carl Wayne and Cheryl (Plain) Dougan. He grew up in Independence and had attended William Chrisman High School. He was currently working for APAC Construction with the Local #663 Laborers Union and had formerly worked for a number years through Local #1290 Laborers Union. Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and most of all playing with his children and spending time with his family. He is survived by his fianc� Misty M. Lewis of the home; 3 sons, Timothy Scott, Sebastian Michael and Lucas Bailey all of the home; his parents Cheryl & David Lybrand of Easton, KS and Carl Dougan of Independence, MO; grandparents, Fred and Darlene Plain and Dorothy Dougan all of Independence, MO and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles "Shorty� Dougan and a uncle, Terry Plain in 2005.
