Bessie B. Dougherty

Bessie B. Dougherty, 91, of Warsaw, MO, passed away Friday, June 08, 2007 at the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, MO. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community of Christ Temple Fund. Bessie was born August 4, 1915 in Holt County, MO to Ira E. and Mary M. (Sipes) Stephenson. Bessie loved all the people she met and found strength in her faith. She is survived by her sons Ronald Brant and Ray Brant, step-children Janice Bonura, Gary Dougherty and June Tillery; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Inglish; brother Leonard Stephenson. Bessie was preceded in death by her first husband William Roy Brant and second husband Thomas Dougherty.
