Daniel Allen Downs, 48, passed away on July 22, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m., at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Inurnment will follow the service in Mound Grove Cemetery.
Dan was born on September 8, 1968, in Warren, OH, to David and Karen (Ruckman) Downs. He attended Fort Osage High School and worked as a truck driver for AAA Disposal for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and the great outdoors. He looked forward to yearly float trips, and was an amazing Frisbee player!
Dan is survived by his beloved daughters, Samantha & Susan Downs; wife, Nanie Downs; father, David Downs; siblings, Dawn (Michael) Fite, Darren M. Downs, David (Leanne) Downs; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Downs and baby brother, Dean Downs.
