Robert Bruce "B. Bob" Draeger

Robert B. “B. Bob” Draeger, 69 of Grain Valley, MO passed away, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Heart of God Fellowship in Sibley, MO. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time at the church. He was born August 23, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Robert William and Vera Clara (Marting) Draeger and has been a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He had worked as a unit operator for the Sibley Power Plant and KCP&L for 39 years before he retired in 2009. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with his club brothers and family. He was a member of Heart of God Fellowship. Survivors include; his loving wife, Marla “Jan” Draeger of the home; 3 daughters, Karan “Kim” Pittsenbarger and husband Jason of Cameron, MO, Wendy Nappier and husband Tim of Carthage, MO and Ashley Draeger of the home; 2 step sons, Robert Myers of Independence, MO and Eric Myers of Liberty; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
