Jeffrey Dresser

Jeffrey A. Dresser, 52 of Bedford, Massachusetts passed away September 6th at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. He was born to Michael E. Dresser and Pebble Virginia (Evans) Dresser, August 29, 1962 in Independence, MO. Jeff graduated from Fort Osage High School and attended William Jewel College in Liberty, MO.

Jeff developed a love of photography from his Grandfather, and was rarely seen without a camera nearby. His fondest childhood memories included summers spent with his Grandparents, Link and Pebble Evans at their home in Smithville, MO. Jeff enjoyed traveling with his family and Hawaii was their favorite destination.

Jeff was employed by ThyssenKrupp Elevator Co. He had worked for them in Dallas, TX and continued with the company after moving to the Boston, MA area in 2013.

Jeff was preceded in death by his Father, Michael E. Dresser. He is survived by his Soul mate, Melissa Gallagher Penglis of Bedford, MA; his son, Michael A. Dresser of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Baylee Dresser of Rumford, ME; stepson, Gregory Gallagher and wife Casey of Kansas City MO; stepdaughters Meaghann Penglis of Bedford, MA and Amanda Penglis of Parkville, MO. He leaves behind his beloved Mother, Pebble Virginia (Ginny) Dresser of Independence, MO; brother Steven Dresser & wife Patty of Independence, MO; brother Michael L. Dresser of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren Isabella & Declyn; nieces Ceci, Sydney and Isabella; nephews Kyle, Corey and Nate.

Family and friends may visit Friday, September 12th, from 6-8pm, at Speaks Funeral Home, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. Jeff’s life will be celebrated at Heartland Church, 400 SW Lake Village Blvd, Blue Springs, MO 64014 on Saturday, September 13th at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at New Salem Cemetery, 24 Hwy and Blue Mills Rd., Independence, Mo.
