Edna “Joann” Drummond, 85 of Buckner, MO passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Buckner, 131 S. Hudson St., Buckner, MO 64016, with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the church. Joann was born August 13, 1935 in Independence, MO to Glenn S. and Annabelle (Lund) Harvey and has been a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed baking, shopping, reading, and watching game shows. She had worked as a secretary at Lake City Ammunition Plant and was the secretary to the commandant for a number of years. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner and taught Sunday school for over 40 years. She is survived by; 4 children, Garrett Henderson and wife Linda of Blue Springs, MO, Terry Jo Henderson of Penrose, CO, Dan Drummond and wife Jill of Raytown, MO and Catherine Lambrecht of Buckner, MO. 3 step children, Mark Drummond, Patrick Drummond and Michael Drummond; a brother, David Dayberry, 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Drummond, a brother, Glenn Scott Harvey, Jr., a sister, Mary Lou Veltri and a step-son, Jay Drummond.
