Raymond Lucien DuBois, 66, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006 at Independence Health Center. Body donation. No services planned. Raymond was born July 23, 1940 in Lewiston, ME to Albert and Germaine (Morneau) DuBois. He attended L-A schools graduating from Edward Little in 1958. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Florida for his entire tour. Mr. DuBois returned home for a short time before moving to Florida, eventually settling in Kansas City. He is survived by three brothers Richard A. DuBois and wife Elaine, Paul E. DuBois and wife Pauline, all of Auburn, ME, Bill DuBois and wife Judy of Poland, ME; sister-in-law Mrs. Robert (Nancy) DuBois of Manchester, NH; uncle and aunt Roland and Bertie Mae Morneau of Ansonia, CT, aunt Bernadette Paradis; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friend Wilma Manbeck. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Ernest Fontaine, his brother Robert J. DuBois and a nephew Michael DuBois.
