Cynthia Ann Duncan was born to Bonnie & Charlie Stucker in KCMO on 9-9-1950.
Cindy graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1968, after marrying her devoted husband of 54 years in May of 1967. Cindy had worked at the YMCA providing scrumptious meals to all those in need. She went on to work for a state special needs transportation department for many years. She has also put in many years at Matties restaurant, where she had made many lifelong friends. When they shut their doors she found herself coming back to being on a bus with kids, that kept her young at heart at the Fort Osage transportation department. Cindy was loved by all that knew her. She was the heart and soul of her ever expanding family. She was the life line to her family. If you left her home with an empty stomach that was completely on you. Her need to feed you and make you feel at home was her purpose. She loved to entertain and welcomed all in her home. She has been described as an “inextinguishable spark of love, joy, and happiness.” Cindy had a very fun loving and almost humorous relationship with her grandkids. She will be forever heart wrenchingly missed and unconditionally loved by many.
Cindy is survived by her husband Ron Duncan, daughter Kimberly Stick, son and daughter in law Jake and Mandy Duncan, grandchildren; Ryan and Marrissa Stick and Kyle and Caitlin Stick, Emaree and Miguel Salgado, great grandchildren; Ronin, Rhett, Bonnie,Korben, and Kannon Stick, Elana and Mila Salgado, sister Karen Thompson, and nieces Dee Farrand and Amanda Thompson.
We will be having a celebration of life on 4-30-2022 from 12-5pm at William Henry Harrison Memorial Park; 11512 Mike Onka Dr.; Independence, MO 64054.
