Louise Duncan, 92, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, March 28th, 2018. A Memorial Mass will take place at 9:00am on Wednesday, April 11th at Old St. Patrick's Oratory, 806 Cherry Street, Kansas City, Mo.
Louise was born in East Saint Louis, IL on January 1, 1926 to Charles and Caroline (Martz) Schlattweiler. On June 7, 1947 she married Lovell Duncan, Jr. Together they raised two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, sewing, and puzzle books. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Louise was a devoted member of Old Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO.
She will be remembered by her daughters Carol Duncan of Blue Springs, MO, Patricia Neer and husband James of Greer, SC; two grandchildren Kirstin Wicker and husband Chris, James R. Neer and fiancé Sarah Nesbit; two great-grandchildren Gavin and Olivia Wicker; sister-in-law Janet Duncan; plus several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Lorraine Holzmeier.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kindred Hospice.
