Ruth Duncan

Ruth Marie Duncan, 69 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away, Sunday, June 8, 2014 at North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Lobb Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2014. Ruth was born October 31, 1944 in Neosho, MO to Clarence and Zelma Olive (Hiner) Warner. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, her dogs and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by; her loving husband, Ronald of the home; 4 sons, Carl Duncan and Randy Warner both of Gladstone, MO, Russell Duncan of Olathe, KS and Ronald E. Duncan, Jr., of Gravois Mills, MO; 2 daughters, Rochelle Warner of Sugar Creek, MO and Linda Duncan of Clinton, MO; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gatewood in 2013 and a sister Bert Warner in 1989.
