Blanche Dunham

Blanche Telean Dunham, 91 of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday morning, December 2, 2012 at the Golden Living Center. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO 64016. Burial will follow in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the chapel. Blanche was born April 7, 1921 in Aurora, MO to Henry and Luva Virginia (Fields) Garroute. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker to her 10 children. She enjoyed drawing and spending time with her family. She had also worked in manufacturing and for TWA. She is survived by; 4 daughters, Ruth Fick of Fowler, CO, Susan Bileau and Jean Dunham both of Kansas City, MO and Pauline Sexton of Independence, MO; 3 sons, Henry Dunham of Kearney, MO, Fred Dunham of Wellington, MO and Jerry Dunham of Buckner, MO; a sister, Virginia Eaton of Monet, MO; 3 half brothers, Ralph Williams, Loren Williams and Lee Williams; 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 children, Lonnie Dunham, Arthur Dunham and Marjorie Dunham and the children’s’ father Don E. Dunham.
