Ralph E. Dunlap, 92, of Independence, Mo passed away April 30, 2004 at Rosewood Health Center. A Memorial Service is planned for 2:00 pm Sunday, May 16, 2004 at The Groves in Independence, MO. Mr. Dunlap donated his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center for research. Ralph was born May 12, 1911, the 7th of 8 children, in Flint, Michigan to Edward C. and Matilda (Tree) Dunlap. He graduated from Oxford High School with 3 letters to his credit. Ralph worked for S.C. M. for 32 years retiring in 1974. He had been a Pastor with the Resthaven Restoration Branch, Elder with the RLDS and Remnant Church, and was currently a member of the Remnant Church. Ralph was a self-taught musician, excellent billiards player, builder, and authored several books on Church History and Religion. Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and son Wayne, both in 2003. He is survived by his sons Gary Dunlap (Pat) of Hillsboro, MO, David Dunlap, Glenn Dunlap (Sally), and daughter in law Denice Dunlap, all of Independence, 20 grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
