Ricky Dunnahay

Ricky Dunnahay, 54, of Independence, MO passed away September 15, 2017 with his loved ones by his side. Visitation will be 6-9pm Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the chapel. Burial will take place in New Salem Cemetery. Ricky was born on April 27, 1963 in Nevada, MO to Richard and Barbara (Monkres) Dunnahay. Ricky had worked for Weise USA for over 10 years as a Dock & Door Specialist. The employees were his second family and he treated them as such. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and just being with family. He was always a leader even though he didn’t know it, others always wanted to follow. There was never a dull moment when Ricky was around, he was funny, quick with a joke, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Always the dreamer, Ricky was always plotting his next move. Survivors include; son James Doutt; daughter Brittany Wolf, son Brett Wolf; grandson Victor Doutt; sister Rita Dunnahay; niece Danielle Dunnahay; great nephews Richard and Robert Granados; girlfriend Karyn Kuhn; a large extended family and many friends. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents Richard Dunnahay and Barbara Harnar.
