Teresa June Durant (Lade)

Teresa June Durant, 58, Independence, MO passed away April 3, 2017 as a result of an auto accident. A memorial service will begin at 2 pm, on Sunday, April 30 with a visitation to follow at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 2820 MO-291, Independence, MO 64055. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Remnant Church First Branch.
Teresa was born July 15, 1958 to Richard and June (Bryant) Lade at Travis Air Force Base, CA. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Graceland University and served as a Registered Nurse in the United States Air Force Reserve until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the 1st Branch of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was an active volunteer and member of the Women’s Ministry there. She was a member of the Reserve Officer’s Association and the Civil Air Patrol. She loved traveling to visit family and especially her grandchildren. Teresa was preceded in death by her mother June Lade. She is survived by husband Tony Durant, of the home; sons Capt. Brian Durant and his wife Sarah, Crestview FL; Chief Warrant Officer-2 Timothy Durant, Ft. Riley, KS; Officer Trainee Michael Durant and wife Stephanie, Independence, MO; sister Patricia Koonce and husband Aaron, St. Joseph, MO; brother Richard Lade and wife Nancy; father Richard Lade, Aunt Lydia Brady, all of Independence, MO and all her family members and friends.
