Eugene “Red” Duve, 83, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, Monday, July 24, 2017 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery.
Red was born December 4, 1933 in Lancaster, WI to Leo and Margaret (Flesch) Duve’.
Mr. Duve’ is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn (Schneider) Duve’; daughter Gail Sinclair (John), son Steven Duve’; grandchildren Taylor, Kaley (Vishal), Levi (Tessa); great-grandson Leo; sister Evelyn Peterson (Phillip); and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Red was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
