Mildred P. Dyer, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 in the chapel. Burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. Mildred was born February 16, 1922 in Cement City, MO to Theodore and Bessie (Yovich) Pleacher. She was an active and faithful member of St. George Serbian Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs. Dyer co-owned and operated Dyer’s Skelly Service Station in Blue Springs, MO before retiring. Mildred is survived by her son Nick Pavlica and his significant other Taffy; grandsons Troy Pavlica and his wife Selinda, Adam Pavlica and his wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren Amanda, Katie, Jacob and Tanner; by her sisters Sylvia and Mary; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Dyer.
