David Dynes

David Dynes, 65, Lee�s Summit MO, died Sunday, November 9, 2003, at his home. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, at the Church of the Nazarene in Ridgefield WA. The family will receive staff and friends at 10:00 a.m Friday, at the Community of Christ Temple. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. Mr. Dynes was born December 1, 1937, in Detroit MI, to Howard and Kathrine (Overcash) Dynes. He served in the U.S. Navy. David was an elementary school teacher for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He had a deep love for the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge and Interpretative Center, was highly active in the Lion�s Club, the Chamber of Commerce, as well as having a great interest in civic and community affairs. Dave had been very active in the Ridgefield Community of Christ church and had recently attended the Woods Chapel Congregation. David is survived by his wife, Mary Jacks Dynes, of the home; 2 children, Ben Dynes, Vancouver WA, and Liza Juhnke and her husband Kevin, Adel IA; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Emma, and Ryan; brothers and sisters, Mary Jean Lutz, Newfoundland, Barbara Addington, Ojai CA, Les Dynes, Woodland WA, Richard Dynes, Ridgefield WA, and Charlotte Clevidence, Ridgefield WA; beloved nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
