Stanley G. Dzula, 57, Independence, Mo. died Sept. 9, 2004 at home. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 8:30 - 10 am, Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice. Stan was born Dec. 8, 1946 in Germany and came to the Kansas City area when he was five. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years and had worked at AT&T for the last ten years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Chiefs fan and started his own Fantasy Football League many years ago. He also enjoyed fishing, coaching his children in youth sports as they were growing up, and his grandchildren. Stan is survived by his wife, Teri Dzula, of the home; daughter Tina Dzula, K.C., MO; daughter Natalie Dzula, Indep., MO; son Richard Dzula, Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Stacia Dzula, Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren Brianna & Blake; brother Wally Dzula, Chilhowee, MO; sisters Loretta Swofford, Indep., MO; and Linda Jenison, K.C., MO.
