Sharon Kae Daugherty Earl, 68, Independence, MO passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association or the Worsley Cemetery Association.
Sharon was born September 6, 1942 in Barton County, MO the daughter of Ralph and Goldie (Green) Daugherty. She was a 1960 graduate of Bronaugh High School. She was employed with Burns & McDonnell Engineering for ten years. Sharon married Paul E. Earl in 1962, they later divorced. She enjoyed singing and dancing to country music. Sharon especially loved her two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include her daughter Sherry Love; grandchildren Kamera and Andrew Love; her loving companion for over 25 years, Ike Luethje; sisters Peggy Headley and Marlene Thomson and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
