Sharon Lee (Wallace) Earley, 66, of Blue Springs, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Sharon was born May 4, 1947 in Topeka, KS; the daughter of Richard James and Merna Lee (Weinert) Wallace. She was united in marriage on May 4, 1966, to love of her life, Dan Earley.
She was the office manager for the family owned machine manufacturing business. She had also worked at Price Chopper on North 7 Highway in Blue Springs for numerous years, where she touched many lives. Family was most important to Sharon and she loved spending all of her time with them as they were the center of her life. She enjoyed gardening, collecting coins and teapots.
Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, Dan Earley, Blue Springs; two daughters, Shelly Grandon and husband Chris, Lee’s Summit; Dana Bowers and husband Chris, Lee’s Summit; four grandchildren, Matt Earley and his wife Mindy, Greenwood; Nick Pemberton, Lee’s Summit; Jude and Jace Bowers, Lee’s Summit; two great grandchildren, Camryn and Mason Earley, Greenwood; two brothers, Richard “Dickie” Wallace, Pleasant Hill; and Elwin “Butch” Wallace, Linwood; two sisters, Cookie Long, Gravois Mills; and Patty Bateson, Tonganoxie; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Merna Wallace and one brother, William Wallace.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Speaks Funeral Home at 18020 E 39th Street, Independence MO 64051. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. with the brief visitation at 9:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Lobb Cemetery in Blue Springs. Memorial contribution is suggested to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
