Mary Louise Edmondson

On Saturday, December 19,2020, Mary Louise Edmondson (Murphy), loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother passed away at the age of 91.
Mary was born on October 3, 1929 in Purdin, MO to Albert and Velma (Myers) Murhpy. She attended William Chrisman High School & graduated in 1948. On July 19, 1948, she married Eugene Lester Edmondson in Nevada, MO. Together they had four children. Mary worked for JC Penney’s where she retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Independence. Mary enjoyed many things such as oil painting, cross stitching & sewing. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Eugene, father Albert, mother Velma, & infant son William Eugene.
She is survived by her three children. Patricia Ann Davis (Springfield, MO), Richard Lagene Edmondson, wife Mary (Independence, MO), Robert Alan Edmondson, wife Tammy (Shawnee KS). Mary had seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
Cremation is planned with a service held at a later date.
